Coalfire PCI DSS ThinScale Whitepaper – Executive Summary
ThinScale Technology(ThinScale) engaged Coalfire Systems Inc. (Coalfire), a respected Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) for the Payment Card Industry (PCI) and Payment Application Qualified Security Assessor (PA-QSA) company, to conduct an independent technical assessment of their ThinKiosk (ThinKiosk) & Secure Remote Worker (Secure Remote Worker) product. Coalfire conducted assessment activities including technical testing, architectural assessment, and compliance validation. This whitepaper specifically focuses on PCI DSS Compliance.
In this paper, Coalfire will describe which requirements of the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) v4 were applicable and supported by the ThinKiosk & Secure Remote Worker software based on the sample testing and evidence gathered during this assessment. The requirements that were not applicable have been included in the matrix in Appendix A (see report).
