ThinScale crowned Innovative New Technology

IRELAND — Leading Irish remote-working security software company ThinScale Technology, has been crowned one of Ireland’s most innovative technology providers in addition to placing 16th as part of The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards for 2022. The Innovative New Technology Award (in association with Google) was presented to ThinScale on the basis of significant investment and success in bringing new products to market.

As a software solution provider which helps organisations implement work from home programmes and bring-your-own-device (BYOD) solutions, ThinScale Technology secures the endpoints of some of the world’s biggest contact centre brands, including Iqor, Teleperformance, Sitel Group and many more.

The company which was founded in 2012 has seen significant growth, with its platform now used in over 70 countries. The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards, which is in its 23rd year, is regarded as a key indicator of innovation and entrepreneurship within the sector.

Following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic almost three years ago, working from home or another decentralised location swiftly became normal practise for hundreds of millions of people worldwide. ThinScale has experienced consistent growth and invested in innovation as employers shift to remote work, with growth figures from 2022 reaching over 40 percent.

In a poll conducted by Statista on the global state of remote working, 29 percent of respondents were found to be permanently working from home with 39 percent working engaged in hybrid work, dividing their time between an office and home. Furthermore, a report from Growmotely found that 76 percent of entrepreneurs believe remote work will become the standard mode of operations for most companies.

Commenting on making the prestigious Fast 50 Awards,  Brendan Kiely, ThinScale Technology CEO and Co-founder, said:

“Winning the Innovative New Technology award is hugely gratifying and speaks to our continuous investment in research and development. We work collaboratively with clients to create solutions that solve real-world challenges for them. We’re delighted to have made the Fast 50 for a third time. It reflects our growth as a business and the importance of the solutions we provide. How and where work is done has fundamentally shifted and we believe that is for the better, for both employees and employers. Our ability to help secure customer and corporate data in remote and hybrid environments within this transition has been vital for the clients we serve”.
